Terms of Service

Articulate Daily is an AI-powered speaking practice app. You record yourself answering questions, and our AI provides feedback on your clarity, confidence, and delivery. We offer a free tier and a paid Pro subscription.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Articulate Daily.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• One account per person. Do not share your account.

• Record yourself answering practice questions
• Receive AI-generated feedback on your recordings
• Track your progress, streaks, and XP over time
• Use unlockable features (Interview Simulator, Conversation Mode, etc.) as you level up
• Delete your own recordings at any time

• Record or upload content that is illegal, abusive, or harmful
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the service
• Use automated tools to access the service (bots, scrapers)
• Abuse the AI systems (e.g., submitting non-speech audio to manipulate scoring)
• Share, resell, or redistribute content generated by the service

You own your recordings. We do not claim ownership of any audio you record.

By using the service, you grant us permission to:

• Process your audio through third-party AI services (Google Gemini) for transcription and feedback
• Store your recordings and transcripts in our database
• Generate AI voice replays of improved versions of your responses (using ElevenLabs)

Note: We use Google's paid Gemini API, which does not use your data for model training. See our Privacy Policy for details on all third-party services.

Feedback, scores, drills, and voice replays are generated by AI. They are not professional coaching advice. The AI can make mistakes. Scores are relative assessments, not objective measurements.

Do not rely on AI feedback for high-stakes situations (job interviews, legal proceedings, medical communications) without also seeking professional guidance.

• Free tier: 5 practice sessions per week. Basic feedback (scores + highlights). Limited recording history.
• Pro tier: $9.99/month. Unlimited sessions, full vocal analysis, AI voice replay, streak freezes, unlockable features, pattern tracking, and custom prompts.
• Free trial: New Pro subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will be charged after the trial unless you cancel.
• Cancellation: Cancel anytime from Settings. You keep access until the end of your billing period. No refunds for partial months.
• Feature unlocks: Features earned through leveling (Brutal Honesty Mode, Interview Simulator, etc.) remain accessible even if you downgrade, as long as you later resubscribe to Pro.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card information.

• Free tier: up to 7 recordings stored. Older recordings are automatically deleted.
• Pro tier: unlimited recordings for the duration of your subscription.
• After cancellation: recordings and account data are retained for 30 days, then deleted.
• You can delete individual recordings at any time.
• To request full account deletion, contact privacy@articulatedaily.app.

We aim to keep Articulate Daily available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, update features, or experience outages. We are not liable for any loss caused by service interruptions.

Articulate Daily is provided "as is." We make no warranties about the accuracy of AI feedback, the availability of the service, or its fitness for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Norway.
